Originally started as Friog Models and Electronics in 1986. However work for the Bala Lake Railway meant we could no longer devote all our time to models and the Friog Models designs were sold to Essel Engineering where they are still available.
Since the sale in 1997, work has been shared over many projects. The major part of the time was spent with the Bala Lake Railway, but model work in various forms continued. Now retired from employment by the Bala Lake Railway more time is available for model work.
Repairs to old Friog model locos are always a pleasure, and the occasional one off considered.
